On December 28, Zhang Baoliang, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, and Yu Shengtao, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, conducted an inspection tour of the production and R&D project of Anzhong Smart Electrical Equipment. Cui Fengyou, Director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, Bian Feng, Chairman of the Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Qi Jun, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the United Front Work Department, and other municipal leaders took part in the inspection. Liu Bo, Secretary of Lanshan District Party Committee and other district leaders accompanied the inspection.

Signed in March, the Anzhong Smart Electrical Equipment Production and R&D Project achieved commencement, completion and operation within the same year. Covering a total land area of 193 mu with an investment of 1.9 billion yuan, the project is constructed in two phases. The first phase focuses on intelligent manufacturing of core equipment for smart power grids, having built Shandong Province’s first L3 excellent-grade intelligent production line for transformers, as well as production lines for digital electrical cabinets, liquid-cooled ultra-fast charging piles and power cables, providing solid equipment support for stable operation of smart power grids and efficient energy transmission. The second phase aims to build a closed industrial ecological loop and innovation-driven system, mainly constructing innovation platforms including electrical equipment R&D and testing centers, concept verification centers and pilot-scale production bases.
